These themes are fugly!

18 Aug

mtv as wtfI don’t have any idea what’s wrong with the WordPress free themes but there is a reason why they are free, these themes are ugly as ****. I’m still wondering why I didn’t change to a dot com domain with the actual wordpress installed on a server but oh wait I am on vacation!

I do love blogging and I bet Alice also does but as soon as I get back to my place, I am for sure going to set up all this stuff and create a template on my own. I’m not a web designer for no reason, I’ll have to kick my lazy ass to work and build what I always wanted to build, AN EMPIRE! Ok I know i know, it’s only a blog but for me it means the world, not.

28 Jul

Hi People!

So here’s the thing. I’ve giving a lot of thought to it and I’ve finaly decided to concentrate my blogging on tourism and trips. It has always been my passion and what better than concentrate myself in what I love most! I’ll write about different cities and countries, the best places to be in a certain moment of the year, the coolest events and festivals, the nicest restaurants and much more! I Hope you’ll like and that my blogs will be most resourceful!

On the plane

22 Jun

Alright so it has already been a little bit more than a week that I landed in Morocco but I wanted to share my experience on the plane. It was my first time traveling by myself without any authorities or anything (Parents), and I loved it!

Everything went well except for the fact that it was a 6 hours flight and I couldn’t fall asleep. I wasn’t expecting the food to be good since everyone of my Moroccan fellows been complaining about the service on Royal Air Maroc company planes and it was pretty comfortable except for the man that was behind me and decided to fall asleep on his table which didn’t give me the choice to bend my seat back.

Since I was on the second floor of the plane, it wasn’t much crowded but actually pretty silent which was relaxing and at the same time boring because there was not really any good looking people to look at (Girls). However, I got to talk with the guy next to me by the end of the course and he was actually a student pursuing a Master in Sports Marketing which is amazing since I am looking forward to study in the Marketing/Finance field. We shared many information on how studies are elaborated in Morocco compared to Canada, Montreal and I found out some very interesting things on what Marketing really is. As we landed, the weather was amazing and it was already ten times warmer than in Montreal without the stupid humidity.

As I went to take my luggage, I realized again that people in Morocco often do not know how to live with other people and the luggage system is nothing more than not organized so I had to wait for about an hour to get my things and get the hell out of there (gtfo is better but gtho seems nicer). Finally, I fell on the train seat and was K.O. until I reached destination.

The summer has finally started!

Just Do It.

2 Jun

Hey everyone! So, here I am once again dear readers and bloggers. I know that Haze already talked about this, but I guess I just want to put a word about this subject myself. We all struggle with the same problem: our goals or dreams. It took me some time to realize this and it’s kind of sad that it didn’t happen earlier: when you want to do something, just do it. When you want something, what the heck are you waiting for? Go get it. Nothing is stopping to go forward and reach that goal of yours or those goals if there are more than one. Of course you might have to work hard for it. But you know what? That’s the beauty of it. All that work won’t be in vain. Once you have what you want, believe me, you’ll be more than satisfied. I know this kind of speech is obvious and often repeted by any individual. The thing is that we have this tendency to forget what is most valuable and important in our lives. That’s what I have learned during this crazy week of mine.

What’s Up People?

15 May

Hey People,

For those who have no idea who I am, let me introduce myself. So I’m Lilice and as Haze posted on one of his recent blogs, I’m kind of hesitating when it comes to blog, but I’ll still give it a shot. I’m the kind of person who is shy went I meet new people, but then again I easily get use to them. I most certainly cannot live without music. It’s like my source of life. I sleep, wake up and eat with music on my ears. One of my many dreams is to travel around the world. “That’s everyone’s dream” you might say, but I’m actually trying to find a way to accomplish that dream of mine. I’ve always been interested in the different cultures that exist and to get to know those cultures is a whole different experience. I guess I just love the variety that we could find along the way of a journey. And, of course, I love nature and all that might possibly be dangerous and extreme. I just can’t hesitate when it comes to fill the thrill of the adrenaline running through my veins and having my heart beating so fast that my whole body shivers of excitement. I am happy to start my journey as a blogger and I thanks Haze for convincing me to do so, so I’d be happy to hear from anyone!

Damn, where have I been?

15 May

Ok so I didn’t post anything for more than a month, the semester is over and i am almost 3 weeks away from flying out for the whole summer. I will be posting more on the blog in the next days and weeks most probably. Hopefully, I will also blog about what’s happening in Morocco, no bombing references no worries, and maybe will I introduce you to a friend of mine that is interested in blogging but is self-doubting herself at doing it. I’ll keep you informed!
